Track Days |
||||
| Chris and Heather Darwin regularly arrange Track Days at the Goodwood
Motor Circuit, Chichester, England. For a small fee, track time is offered to classic car owners who want to experience the fast two and a half mile motor circuit, but without the formality of competition licenses and the FIA approval for the cars. All the profits from the day are donated to a specified charity, raising
money for a very worthwhile cause. |

The overall intention of the day is to have fun.Typically, each car is allowed 5 laps in a session with up to five sessions in the day, depending on weather and circuit availability. (i.e. 25 laps total). The two and a half mile track is scrutineered and organised by Goodwood Marshals and Officials. If you want to participate, a competition license is not required, just
a reliable vehicle, preferably a TR, that passes the noise test of 105
db static and 101 db drive-by. A maximum of two occupants are allowed
in each car and all occupants to wear a crash helmet. |
